“Lynda Brothers is such an incredible artist! Her life story and extremely wide scope of art experience is impressive. Lynda’s teaching focuses on the needs of individuals, be they children or adults from all ages. Lynda is an extremely talented and accomplished artist and her studio is set in such an idyllic environment, that I never wanted to leave! Lynda takes great care to personalize the experience of her students. I have stayed with Lynda at her B&B on a few occasions and taken a range of her art classes – I cannot recommend the experience more highly! Contact her to personalize an experience to your needs and interests.” Maryna Matthew 04/15/2023

“My daughter and I take weaving classes with Lynda Brothers at her well resourced studio. We are enjoying our classes because she is a very creative, patient and thorough teacher. She tailors her teaching to the abilities of each student. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding textile art and the resources to have you choose just about anything for to make a project how you would like it done. Lynda offers many classes like marbling, batik, weaving, felting, and more.” Isabelle Becker 09/04/2023

“I have taken numerous workshops taught by Lynda, from tapestry weaving to batik and marbling on silk and other surfaces. To see her art in person is to understand the depth of her knowledge. She’s humble, so you might have to root around her art studio or ask her to show you some of her work. She has earned the title of internationally renown tapestry artist. In addition, she’s amazing with batik and marbling and creating mixed media 3d sculptures from things found in nature. She has an enormous bamboo garden and you frequently will find bamboo in her creations. And the stories from her life…I’m surprised Hollywood hasn’t found her. She’s lived on a boat in the waters off Africa, run her own art gallery in Aspen, Taos and Cape Town, South Africa, has created huge, fabulous art installations in corporate and medical centers throughout the world. And for me, personally, I love that she loves animals. She even weaves with her beloved dogs’ hair! Amazing person, phenomenally talented! It’s also worth noting that Lynda has taught children all aspects of art for over 20 years now. As a bonus for adults: ask her about her sip and create workshops!” Debra Mason 08/09/2023
