“Elegant Fusion-4 Souls” is a collaborative work by tapestry artist Lynda Brothers and batik artist Ferril Nawir. The total installation is made up of four components:

• two woven screens – made with palm leaf rope, dyed raffia grass, and bamboo from the artist’s garden. Weavings are 38″ Wide x 8 Feet High, base 18″ x 18″, total depth 18″ with base.
• two batik-on-wood paintings – made with wax resist and dyes on each side of the installation. 4 feet Wide x 8 feet High.

The installation can be viewed from either side. The two batiks can be shown together in isolation as a diptych. The two woven screens can also be shown separately or together.
